US Web Hosting is a straightforward web hosting company. They have kept their scope of services limited for the primary reason that they do not want to offer a range of mediocre services, they want to offer one service and be the best at it.
With a professional looking site and clearly marked deals, US Web Hosting does a good job of attracting customer to dive in for more information. However once the customer does start to explore the site they quickly realize that it is severely lacking in content.
Hosting Plans
Similar to most web hosting companies US Web Hosting provides shared web hosting plans along with dedicated severs, however no virtual server plans are offered. Two options are provided for the shared hosting plans, the Website Plan and the Webmaster Plan.
The Website plan is built for those individuals that are looking to host a single site as the plan is not able to support multiple domains. It offers 1GB of storage space and allows for 10GB of data to be transferred every month. The cost for the Website plan is $2.95 per month and the minimum contract is 1 year which means an upfront payment of $35.40 is required.
Alternatively the Webmaster Plan provides 25GB of storage and allows for 250GB of data transfer per month. It also allows users to host an unlimited number of domain under the same plan. The cost for the Webmaster Plan is $17.95 per month. There is no minimum contract term however if customers sign up for 1 year they get two free months which makes the cost $179.50.
Both plans offer the standard features such as:

Access to the Fantastico script installer is also provided which allows user to quickly and easily setup features like blogs, forums, image galleries and content management systems.
If clients would like to setup an online store US Web Hosting also provides a range of shopping carts such as osCommerce, Agora and Cube Cart. Installation of the SSL certificate is also provided free of cost however customers would have to pay for the certificate.
One thing to note is that if customers exceed their monthly data transfer limits their websites are blocked. Extra bandwidth can be purchased from the company if required. All server are dual core and US Web Hosting has a strict users per server ratio to ensure service quality does not drop.
If customers would like to cancel their account they have to give a 30 days advance notice.
If customers would like to sign up for the dedicated server plan they can email the company as no pricing information is provided. The dedicated server plan includes hardware setup and installation of basic operating system, server monitoring and trouble shooting.
Customer Support and Reviews
Customers who want to get in touch with US Web Hosting, only have one option, that is to email the company. A number of email addresses are provided depending on the department you would like to get in touch with. The lack of a phone number or live chat is something that seriously affects the company's chances of signing up new customers.
US Web Hosting provides a help center featuring a knowledgebase and online ticket system. However the knowledgebase does not seem to contain any articles. This is also the case with the trouble shooting section. No customers testimonials are provided.
Company Information
US Web Hosting was created in 2004 and provides web hosting for over 10,000 sites. The company does not give any information about its data center or networks which does not build confidence in the fact that their customers are their number one priority. The company's website also provides the very basic information and does not leave visitors feeling too confident in the companies services.
One strange thing is that on the company's home page two advertisements are prominently displayed for other web hosting companies which can easily confuse visitors. This seems very strange as it is almost like US Web Hosting is promoting its competition.

While US Web Hosting states multiple times that their customers are their main concern the lack of information, phone number or support features makes one think otherwise.
